Miss USA 2011 Contestants on Evolution

I made it to Miss Florida before my face started melting from all the stupid. Ugh. This is the kind of American ugliness that makes me want to renounce my fucking citizenship.

Evolution doesn’t even get in the way with believing in God though.
And why are they talking about evolution like it’s a belief or religion?
Indiana…? Really?
Most of them aren’t as bad as I was expecting, but what I was expecting was also horrendous.
One of them just said something about it being up to the student to “apply it to their life;” how does one apply evolution to their life?

I made it to Maryland.
I can’t sit through anymore; not because it was awful, because I’m too tired. 

Indiana pissed me off. Really? Just push it under the government rug?

I made it to Mississippi before getting too annoyed.
